Economic Impact: Andhra Pradesh’s livestock sector contributes 11.23% to the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), sustaining over 4.2 million households. With a growth from ₹43,127 crore (2014-15) to ₹91,633 crore (2018-19), the sector is a cornerstone of rural livelihoods.

The conclave featured ten focused group discussions addressing critical areas for modernizing the livestock sector. From AI-driven smart farming to inclusive financial strategies, the event laid out a roadmap for sustainable growth.
Smart Farming with AI & IoT: Leveraging AI, IoT, and blockchain for disease prediction, automated feeding, and real-time livestock monitoring. Innovations like Livestockify’s avian vocal analysis system detect diseases like bird flu in just 30 minutes.
Livestock Credit Plan: A ₹15,000 crore credit roadmap to empower 100,000 entrepreneurs and 2.5 million SHG women with tailored financial solutions for dairy, poultry, and more.
Entrepreneurship Development: Promoting rural startups through innovation centers and support for SHGs, aiming to transform 2 million women into “Lakhpati Didis” via livestock enterprises.
Dairy Transformation: Introducing Sex-Sorted Semen technology to achieve over 90% female calf births, targeting 5.9 million female calves and ₹13,000 crore in milk revenues by 2030.
Market Linkages: Bridging farm-to-market gaps with digital marketplaces, traceability systems, and e-commerce integration to boost farmer incomes and reduce wastage.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the conclave introduced transformative policy measures to support the livestock sector:
